#GSSChallenge Rules and Regulations

1. Eligibility:

• Open to all GSS followers on LinkedIn & Instagram.
• Participants must be 18 years or older.

2. Theme:

• Photos must align with the theme of environmental sustainability and the specific theme written in the blog posts that week

3. Submission Guidelines:

• Participants must post their photo(s) on LinkedIn & Instagram with the hashtag #GSSChallenge
• Tag GSS’s official social media account in the post @greenskysustain
• Include a brief description (up to 50 words) of how the photo relates to that week’s theme

4. Entry Limit:

• Each participant can submit up to 3 entries per week.

5. Contest Period:

• The contest runs from July 29, 2024, until early December!
• All entries must be submitted by Friday at 5 pm PST each week to be part of that week’s judging.

6. Judging Criteria:

• Creativity and originality (40%).
• Relevance to the theme (30%).
• Visual appeal and quality (20%).
• Engagement (likes, shares, comments) on social media (10%).

7. Prizes:

• The winner will receive a copy of the book “Smart Climate Moves” by Nelson Lee
• Additional prizes may be awarded for runner-ups.
• 8. Winner Announcement:
• Winners will be announced each Saturday on GSS’s social media.
• Winners will be contacted via direct message on the platform where the submission was posted.

9. Permissions:

• By entering the contest, participants grant GSS the right to use their submitted photos in marketing and promotional materials, with credit given to the photographer.

10. Disqualification:

• Entries that do not comply with the rules will be disqualified.
• Photos must be original and taken by the participant. No plagiarism or copyrighted content is allowed.
• Photos must meet community standards to be part of the challenge.

11. General Terms:

• GSS reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time.
• The decisions of the judges are final and binding.
