Green Sky is an independent, Standards Council of Canada (SCC) accredited Validation and Verification Body (VVB) providing greenhouse gas (GHG) validation and verification in Canada and internationally.

Our Story
Founded in 2015, Green Sky was established with a clear objective: to deliver credible, practical climate action through high-integrity greenhouse gas validation and verification.
From the outset, our focus on independent, standards-based assurance positioned us at the centre of climate mitigation efforts – supporting organizations across voluntary and regulatory applications with confidence in their reporting and compliance.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we responded to industry disruption by investing in people. Recognizing both the shortage of qualified verifiers and the availability of highly skilled professionals, we developed a targeted training program to transition engineers and specialists into the GHG verification field.
This initiative strengthened industry capacity at a critical time, while expanding the pool of practitioners supporting credible climate action.
Over the past decade, Green Sky has grown from a one-person venture into a multidisciplinary team of technical experts, supporting hundreds of verification engagements across multiple jurisdictions.
